Genetec is a global provider of video surveillance solutions over IP, access control and license plate recognition.

As an intern at Genetec, i had a couple tasks but mainly software testing :

Find bugs in the software and make sure the old ones have been fixed.
Use TFS to keep track of bug fixes.
Perform software upgrades to simulate those made by customers.
Use virtual machines.

This internship allowed me to learn the operation of IP surveillance cameras as well as access control units.
